Welcome to Relevance - faith in the moment. This is the living pulse of our church calendar. Here you will find the moments that matter--gatherings, services, missions, milestones, and seasonal rhythms. This page is your invitation to step into what's happening now, where our sacred traditions meet today's call to love boldly, serve faithfully, and live in tune with our Creator. Relevance isn't about being trendy--it's about showing up to the moment with purpose. 

Events and Announcements

Join us on our Reformation journey as we transform ministry into something new--explore fresh outreach, bold new missions, meaningful resources, and new ways to connect with us, our community, and beyond. 

Weekly Schedule

Sunday

  • Worship Service: 9:30 AM — In person or live on Facebook

  • Fellowship Hour: 10:30 AM — Join us for coffee, snacks, and community

  • AA Meeting: 7:00 PM — Held downstairs in the Fellowship Hall

  • Pastoral Office Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

🕊️ Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month.
Please bring food pantry donations to be blessed at the altar and shared with our neighbors — extending the Lord’s Table into our community.

  • Dart Ball League: Join our church team! Meets Monday evenings for fellowship and friendly competition.

  • Christmas Tree Donation Drop-Off: 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM
    ➤ If you have a tree to give or are in need of one, please contact Nicole at pastornicole@lovestrucc.org.

  • SAAC Meeting: 12:00 PM — Keystone Family Alliance will be our guest speakers.
    (Note: There will be no December SAAC meeting.)

  • Volunteering at Scottdale Food Bank: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
    Join us as we serve our neighbors in love and help distribute food to local families.

November 19 - Consistory

November 30 - First Day of Advent/Last Day for Bible Study Sign Up

  • First Sunday of Advent Begins — Join us as we light the first candle of hope and prepare our hearts for the season of Christ’s coming. We will also be decorating the church for Christmas after worship and sharing in a light lunch of soup

  • Join us each Monday evening for our Advent–Epiphany study of the Book of Ephesians, meeting online through Google Meet. Together we will explore themes of identity, grace, unity, love, and spiritual strength. Click here for more details

December 13th- Merry Grinchmas

  • Join us for Merry Grinchmas on Dec. 13, 10–3 — free vendor tables to support local businesses, plus free kids’ photos and limited gifts, and food for sale from our kitchen to launch our monthly community meal. Email pastor@lovestrucc.org to reserve a spot. Click here for more details

December 14th - Blue Christmas

  • At 5 PM we’ll gather for a gentle Blue Christmas Service, surrounded by the warmth of tea-light candles as we reflect, remember, and hold space for the grief and love we carry this season. More information will be shared soon.

December 15th - Virtual Bible Study

December 21st - Free Community Meal

  • All are welcome to join us for a warm, home-cooked meal shared in fellowship and love. The meal will be served from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and is offered freely to our neighbors — no expectations, no requirements, just a place to sit, eat, and be cared for.

  • Those who feel led to give a free-will offering may do so; all gifts go directly toward covering the cost of the next month’s meal so we can continue feeding our community with compassion and dignity.

  • If you would like to volunteer with cooking, setup, serving, or clean-up, please email Rev. TJ at pastor@lovestrucc.org. Volunteers are always appreciated.

December 22nd - Virtual Bible Study: IN-PERSON MEAL @ 7pm

  • We will share in a potluck meal at 106 N. Chestnut Scottdale, PA instead of being virtual. Anyone that is not available will be provided with an email devotional to reflect upon but let us covenant to enjoy some time together around the table.

December 24th - Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

  • Join us for a beautiful 5:00 PM Christmas Eve Candlelight Service as we gather to welcome the light of Christ into the world. This gentle, joy-filled service will include carols, Scripture, and the glow of candlelight as we celebrate the holy night together.

  • Come however you’re comfortable — dressed up or dressed down. Children are welcome to come in their Christmas pajamas and join the wonder of the evening just as they are.

  • All are invited to this warm and family-friendly celebration of love, hope, and the birth of our Savior.

December 25th - January 1st

  • Rev. TJ is on vacation. There will be no Monday bible study on December 29th. Pastor Nicole is available for emergencies.
